O site Gametrailers revelou as primeiras imagens de "Tony Hawk Ride", nova edição do game de skate estrelado pelo famoso atleta do esporte radical. A grande novidade é o uso de um controle em forma de skate.
Por ora, os detalhes não foram divulgados, mas supõe-se que os comandos sejam feitos deslocando o peso sobre o periférico, e colocando a mão na parte da frente ou de trás do skate. O dispositivo também traz uma série de botões laterais.
O site oficial indica que o jogo está sendo preparado para Xbox 360, Wii e plataformas da família PlayStation. O título deve aparecer no PlayStation 3, mas o PlayStation 2 também pode ganhar sua versão.
"Ride" representa a introdução de inovações nesta série que é considerada divisora de águas no gênero de esportes radicais. Mas, ao longo de sua trajetória, que completa dez anos em 2009, principalmente nos últimos tempos, as recentes iterações passaram a oferecer basicamente mais do mesmo, e perderam espaço para o concorrente "Skate", introduzido em 2007.
"Tony Hawk Ride" é uma das atrações da Activision na E3, feira de games que acontece em Los Angeles entre 2 e 4 de junho, com cobertura ao vivo do UOL.
