O blog oficial da série "Left 4 Dead" informou números interessantes no que se refere a contagem de corpos nas partidas online de "Left 4 Dead 2". Segundo os dados, exatamente 28.981.249.043 zumbis foram eliminados durante as partidas online do título lançado para Xbox 360 e PC no período de dois meses.
A Valve, produtora do game, complementa a informação com fatos interessantes. Por exemplo, esse número é 4,26 vezes a população total de Terra atualmente.
Se a média de altura dos zumbis fosse de 1,82 metro, seria possível empilhar esta quantidade e criar 1.322 anéis em volta da Terra. Estes valores se referem somente aos dois primeiros meses que o game está no mercado.
Lançado em novembro, "Left 4 Dead 2" traz cinco novas campanhas - como "Swamp Fever", ambientada em um típico pântano do sudeste americano - oferecendo novas formas de combater os zumbis, como embates corpo a corpo. Além das tradicionais armas de fogo, os jogadores podem utilizar também armas brancas de médio a grande porte como tacos de beisebol, pedaços grandes de madeira e até mesmo serras-elétricas, o que acabou dando ao jogo uma cara ainda maior de "filme de zumbi".
